The Power of Feeling Guilty?

Feeling Guilty conveys a powerful message.
What kind of people do something wrong and feel no guilt? - bad
people, right... sociopaths!

So, good people are people that do something wrong and feel guilty, in
fact the guiltier they are, the more sensitive their conscience... so
people that feel guilty are really good people. People that feel
guilty for something ridiculous - like accidentally pocketing an extra
5 cents change - are saints!
And that is why we feel guilty... to communicate to everyone what a
good sensitive person we are, with high moral standards.

The alternative:
Guilt has 2 components:
1 - to communicate that we have a sensitive conscience (are a "good" person).
2 - to want others to have all the good we have (we feel guilty when
we feel we got more than others or more than we deserve)

So... keep feeling guilty if you want (so you can everyone know
(especially yourself) what a good person you are), but this
communication really doesn't help anyone.
Or you can learn to:
1 - Be bold about how much you care, let your conscience inspire you
to be courageous in reaching out to help others.
and
2 - Learn to invite others to rise to the occasion - by standing for
their high moral standards.

In essence this means mastering these 3 skills:
1 - Know Yourself: Know what Virtue you are committed to that you are
not expressing (so you feel guilty)
2 - Speak Your Truth: Instead of "I feel so guilty." say "I care so
much about ___(virtue)___ that I'm going to reach out and
__(caring_action)__ so we can feel better about this."
3 - Make your Contribution: Just DO IT!

Remember: it's wonderful that you have a sensitive conscience - thank
your soul and use that feeling to empower others to express their
virtues.
